Beyond the SIS
Your SIS tracks students.
It doesn’t prove anything.
Orbund, CoreCampus, FAME, Populi, and Student First all sell a platform to run a school. None of them sells what a director actually needs on the morning of the site visit: a locked, dated, evidence-attached record that an examiner accepts. Atticus™ is that proof layer — over whatever you already run — starting at $10 per student.
What each one says — and what each one proves.
Headlines are quoted from each vendor’s public website, September 2026. Marks reflect what the public product descriptions claim.
| Capability | Atticus™ “When examiners arrive, you don’t scramble.” | Orbund “Next-generation AI-driven student information system.” | CoreCampus “A connected platform, not a patchwork.” | FAME “One platform. Every stage.” | Populi “Run your whole college.” | Student First “The complete student record.” |

The difference
Your SIS manages students. Atticus manages whether your school is ready.
Every responsibility.
Enrollment, records, academic progress, workplace learning, licensing, governance, compliance, regulatory readiness.
Every deadline. Every approval.
Tracked with a named owner and a date. Nothing closes without evidence attached.
Every document. Every exception.
Locked when captured, versioned when corrected, produced in one click.
No disconnected systems. No missing evidence. No last-minute compliance scramble. Beyond the SIS.
Common questions
Atticus vs. an SIS
Do I have to replace my SIS to use Atticus?
No. Atticus is the proof layer. It can replace a basic SIS, or run beside the one you have and own the records an examiner reviews — attendance, SAP, interventions, placement, documents, and the audit binder.
What does an SIS not do that Atticus does?
An SIS records what happened. It does not lock the record, attach evidence to every intervention, tie a signed agreement to the catalog version, verify placements with an employer, or produce a reviewer-formatted binder on demand. Those are the things a site visit tests.
How does the price compare?
Atticus starts at $10 per student per month, published on the site. Competing career-school platforms rarely publish pricing; in our experience Atticus delivers complete institutional oversight at approximately half the cost of many of them.
Is this comparison fair?
It is based on each vendor’s public website and product descriptions as of September 2026. If a vendor adds one of these capabilities, tell us and we will update the table.
